What is the mystery of matter and energy?
Einstein's famous equation says it all...
Energy and matter are equivalent,
With the speed of light factored in.
Why is the speed of light factored in?
Because moving energy is the basic fabric on which this Cosmos is built.
In other words, this reality we experience is constructed from moving energy.
So any fundamental description of this reality must include the speed at which this energy moves.
So how does matter fit into this picture?
To answer that question, we can rearrange Einstein's equation to look like this...
